His amazing resemblance to the U2 bassman, enclosed to his absolute groove exactness make him the right element for a world level tribute. Great expert of U2 music and player with 20 years of stage experience, he uses the reproduction of three basses used by Clayton during the last two worldwide tours. His amplifier is exactly the same model played by U2 during the recording sessions for the album "No Line On The Horizon"; a three speakers Ashdown made in England by now almost impossible to find. He's considered in Europe and oversea by every promoter working with the band, as the best "Adam not Adam" in the world.
